Maybe we should think of ourselves as "stakeholders" instead of "shareholders." As Kingdom people, we have the happy responsibility to look outward in a culture of profound narcissism.

What a difference this would make!

We all have our wants and desires, but we have to be willing to lay them down as an offering of worship before Christ for the sake of the Kingdom.

It's hard. It's not pleasant. But it's a life or death matter.
